Your tour starts at your Wellington accommodation, where you and a friend are chauffeured to the Inter-islander Ferry. Your driver will check you on board and farewell you for the day.
The Inter-islander ferry crossing takes three hours. You will have great views of:
- The Wellington Harbour; New Zealand's larges natural harbour,
- Cook Strait; where the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean meet,
- The Marlborough Sounds - at Tory Channel entrance you will see the outer sounds only a few hundred metres from your ship, followed by an hour of stunning bays and fiords.
You will be met at the gangway by your Marlborough guide who will host you through some of New Zealand's most renowned wineries such as:
- Cloudy Bay,
- Montana,
- Highfields Winery Estate &
- Hunters Winery.
You will lunch at a renowned Marlborough winery and will enjoy wine-tasting, talks from local winemakers, and a relaxing lunch among the vines. You will also receive a complimentary bottle of Marlborough Chardonnay.
Your return trip to Wellington is another highlight and includes a 20 minute scenic flight from Marlborough to Wellington over the Marlborough Sounds. There, you will be met again by your driver who will chauffeur you to your accommodation.
